SIL ENGINEERING and FIRE SAFETY:
Within the scope of the Presidential Decree 37/08 and DM 04/05/1998
Fire safety engineering, also called fire safety engineering, is a complex discipline; which tackles the problem of choosing the most appropriate security measures with scientific methods. It was officially defined for the first time with a document of the ISO ( international standard organization ) the TR 13387 ( fire safety engineering ).
The scientific aspect of this subject is essentially linked to the fact that fire simulations can be carried out with calculation methods; in order to have a fairly accurate idea of what happens in an environment when a fire breaks out inside.
The results of the simulations, in fact, allow us to understand exactly how much time people have available to escape and how long the structures can resist.
SV security systems with the new certified control unit, is inserted into the system by monitoring all the inputs in the FIRE-GAS field, implementing evacuation plans, and shutdowns to save human life, containing with special detection areas at high risk of leaks dedicated toxic gases to special productions.

Our skills allow us to carry out a complete assessment of potentially explosive atmospheres , whether due to the presence of gas or incendiary dust, through the study of the emission sources, ventilation conditions and all other factors as dictated by the ATEX reference standard. .
After defining the extent and extent of the risk areas, we are able to adopt the most suitable protection methods for the type of service requested.
The design and construction of special fire-gas certified panels, created for high-risk industrial environments in Atex classified areas, with the Certified Gas configuration, has the task of alerting us to the first level of gas leakage; process the signal; and carrying out a predetermined logic dedicated to the implementation of a safety function; designed for the continuous search for protection of people and environments.
The reference standards teach us how to apply “probality failure on demand” PFD values to a system that must implement the safety function. The production of special panels made in SV Sistemi di Sicurezza is under strict IMQ FPC certification procedures.

The design and construction of special certified panels for Fire-Gas; for non-classified areas, the procedures for the feasibility analysis remain unchanged; the systems are designed to effectively cover the area to be monitored in order to detect the fire in its initial phase; very important for maximum damage reduction.
All the environmental characteristics of the site such as shape, dimensions and ventilation are taken into consideration to define the best applicable technical solution. Engineering of systems for gas concentration detection
be they explosive or toxic, through close collaboration with the customer and a scrupulous study of the plant. Our specialized staff defines the specifications for the realization of the special framework; the characteristics and positioning of the various components in order to fulfill the main characteristic of these systems: Preventing the initiator element dangerous to safety with instrumented functions.
