DET-TRONICS DISTRIBUTION IN ITALY
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH DETECTOR ELECTRONICS CORPORATION DET-TRONICS
The strategic alliance that SV Sistemi di Sicurezza has signed with Detector Electronics Corporation (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) is a significant milestone for our company.
The SV Italia Det-Tronics distribution agreement entered into with the US manufacturer; in fact, it allows to combine Det-Tronics’ primacy in the global market of technologies for early fire detection; read automatic flame and gas detection; finally, the specialization of SV in the control systems of these technologies.
The EXFIRE360 control unit, developed entirely by SV, is fully compatible with the equipment produced by Det-Tronics; thus allowing SV to integrate fully among the Italian and European high-end manufacturers; for firefighting applications in high risk industrial environments.
These include airport hangars, the automotive sector , chemical and petrochemical plants, deposits of flammable liquids, LNG terminals, offshore platforms, gas compression stations, logistics companies, the industrial steel industry, turbines and power plants, etc.
In such contexts, SV will therefore be able to provide its engineering services; its own control centers and, under the agreement with Det-Tronics; fire detection devices with the relevant services (maintenance, technical assistance, supply of spare parts, etc.).
The partnership with Det-Tronics allows, however, to expand the range of product certifications available; since the US company operates on the market with the philosophy of global certification .
Ultimately, it is worth recalling the advantages of the EXFIRE360 product, which characterize its uniqueness on the fire-fighting market: modularity; the availability of intuitive touch-screen operator interfaces; hot replacement of components (ie without switching off the plant), the possibility of creating complex network systems between exchanges; product certification for each fire-fighting function performed and for numerous geographical areas (Europe, SEE and EAC countries).
The SV-Det-Tronics collaboration therefore aims to create a national reference point for the fire-fighting sector; with expected results in terms of market penetration and sales volumes of the products of the two manufacturers.
